Henge Diggers

05th September 2008
I have just returned from a week of fantastic shooting at the Stonehenge Riverside Project. I was once more welcomed in to stay with the project as, this year, they excavate the Stonehenge Avenue, the Cursus, a long barrow at the end of the Cursus and the Palisade. I was very lucky with the weather, dramatic clouds and long periods of good light giving me many opportunities to take photographs.

I captured lots of good images which will go towards an exhibition called Henge Diggers which is pencilled in to open at Salisbury Museum in June 2010. I am hoping to find spaces in the four Universities directing the project in order to tour the exhibition to Bournemouth, Bristol, Manchester and Sheffield between October 2010 and June 2011.
